Fall is in the Air

Time is passing by too quickly. Already signs of fall are in the air. Last Saturday we watched Layla and Olivia play soccer and it was 97 degrees. This Saturday we watched Alexie play and needed a jacket. At least it is cooler. Cool I can live with. Hot, no.
I am hoping to spend this weekend cleaning the basement so I can move my sewing downstairs. The basement will allow more room for my supplies and more space to organize everything. Then to master the longarm. I really need to get those quilts finished.

When you master the long arm let me know. That is on my list of "to do" this winter when you cannot get outside. I toyed with the idea of moving my sewing room upstairs but decided it is not worth it with the summer heat. I have a portable heater for the winter in the basement but no portable AC for the spare room. Anyway, my goal is to move the racks of projects to the laudry room/storage side where the long arm is and bring the long arm into the finished side so I can actually use it.
